Hannah McCann – St Brigid & Me

£5.00

Part one of my comic about St Brigid!

This is a story about a saint who was really a goddess, about why she matters today, or perhaps how we can make her matter. It is really an auto-biographical memoir comic about some of my own experiences of re-connecting with this saint – who is an important character in my childhood and in my Northern Irish home – in the midst of the fight for abortion rights and abortion access on the island of Ireland. This story is about my finding political connection and meaning from my homeland, something that has meant a lot to me as someone who moved to England to start my adult life 15 years ago
